An opening for a full-time coach has arisen at the Club
Fleetwood Town Football Club is now recruiting for a full-time coach to join our academy team.This role will involve coaching and developing elite players, primarily in the U18’s age group, to prepare them for professional football at the highest level. This is a permanent position and will be required to start immediately. This role will be primarily based at the club’s brand new training facility at Poolfoot Farm, near Fleetwood.
Candidates must have a ‘UEFA A’ Coaching Licence and have completed FA Youth modules 1, 2 and 3. Successful applicants will have a working knowledge of the academy system and the professional football environment with detailed understanding of the EPPP and its audit processes.
Strong IT skills are essential, and should include a high level of competence of using PMA, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Candidates will possess a proactive attitude and have the ability to work calmly under pressure whilst delivering high quality coaching. Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach to working hours is required.
Knowledge of sports science, match analysis software, and a good network of introducers and key contacts are desirable.
