The Gunners are aiming for a second successive FA Cup win

Arsenal and Aston Villa will contest the 2015 FA Cup with Budweiser at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 30th May.

The Gunners are the holders of the competition having beaten Hull City at the home of English football last season.

Aaron Ramsey's extra-time winner ensured Arsene Wenger’s side ended their nine-year wait for a trophy as they came from two goals behind to the Tigers.

Early goals from defenders James Chester and Curtis Davies gave Hull a flying start inside the first eight minutes.

Santi Cazorla's superb free-kick put Arsenal back in contention before half-time and Laurent Koscielny scrambled in the equaliser after 71 minutes.

And Welshman Ramsey completed the comeback with an instinctive strike with 11 minutes of the extra period left.

This year, Wenger’s men knocked out Hull in the third round with a 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium, before coming through 3-2 against Brighton and Hove Albion.

A brace from Olivier Giroud ensured their passage into the quarter finals as they beat Championship outfit Middlesbrough in the fifth round.

A trip to giants Manchester United awaited the Gunners, and despite Wayne Rooney’s opener, goals from Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck earned them victory at Old Trafford.

In the semi-final, Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead before Garath McLeary responded, however Sanchez struck in extra time to secure a final berth.

Aston Villa’s route to the showpiece final has been somewhat easier, with all of their ties being played at Villa Park.

They overcame Blackpool by a solitary goal in the third round before later seeing off the challenge of Bournemouth.

Premier League side Leicester City visited the home of Villa in the fifth round, and the West Midlands side progressed thanks to goals from Leandro Bacuna and Scott Sinclair.

In the sixth round, Villa beat another Premier League side in the form of West Bromwich Albion, with goals from Fabian Delph and Sinclair setting up a semi-final date with Liverpool.

Tim Sherwood’s side produced a shock in the last four as they defeated Liverpool, despite going behind to a Phillipe Coutinho goal.

Christian Benteke equalised just after the half hour mark before Delph struck in the second half to win the game.
