Whistle blower will take charge of HMRC finals dayBarclays Premier League referee Mike Dean will officiate at Highbury Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
Cheshire based Dean will take charge of the HMRC finals day at the home of Fleetwood Town Football Club.
Dean has been appointed the man in the middle for the Championship Play-Off final between Middlesbrough and Norwich City at Wembley on Monday 25th May.
He became a Football League assistant in 1995 before being promoted to the referees list two years later. He then moved up to the Select Group in 2000, and became a FIFA referee in 2003.
He has officiated a number of prestigious matches, including the 2008 FA Cup Final and the 2011 League Cup Final.
The whistle blower’s last game was Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford last Sunday.
