Complex has been used by thousands of people in recent months

Mick Horsfall, centre facilities manager for Fuse Football, recently gave an update to the Club’s website on how things have been going at Poolfoot Farm.

The impressive complex has now been open for two months, and Horsfall has been delighted with the amount of people he has seen participate.

Horsfall is hoping that Fuse Football will continue to grow from strength to strength over the summer months, with a number of events taking place.

He said: “Things have been going really well at Fuse Football recently. We’ve been open for two months now and have had thousands through the door.

“We’ve had total different demographics. We’ve had five years olds doing sports camps, men taking part in walking football and we’ve got some good women doing group camps as well.

“Combine that with everything else that’s been going on training wise, then it’s been brilliant really.

“Our plans now over the summer are to keep people playing football. It’s a bit off an off-season at the moment but we’ve got plenty of tournaments lined up.

“We’re trying to kick a corporate business challenge off in June and we’ve got a Sunday morning friendly league starting too.

“In addition, we’ve got every age group in the Poulton primary and Blackpool district league in for a football festival.

“We can’t complain with how things have gone so far, but I always want to do better.”
