Season tickets went on sale at 9am on Thursday morning

David Hancock was the first Town supporter through the door this morning to renew his season ticket for the 2015/16 campaign.

Hancock, who takes the Cod Army’s games in from the impressive Parkside Stand, has been a season ticket holder at Highbury for three seasons.

He was pleased with the way Graham Alexander’s side performed in their debut season in League One, and is now hoping they can improve on their 10th placed finish next term.

Speaking after renewing his ticket, he said: “I’ve been a season ticket holder at Fleetwood for the last three seasons but came before that to watch games.

“My son Richard came to Fleetwood before me and told me what a wonderful little Club it is. He said I had to come down here because it was just terrific.

“We’ve supported Fleetwood together for some time and saw them go up in the Play-Offs at Wembley last May.

“It was a great day down in London and we thoroughly enjoyed, and the last season has been a very good one too. I enjoy watching them.

“We sponsored Gareth Evans last season but we have decided to who sponsor this year as of yet. We quite fancy doing so again though as it makes it a bit more interesting.

“The day after we sponsored Gareth on a Friday last season, he scored the next day so that was rather nice!

“The players did really well in the end last season. Early on it looked as though we might be up there in the Play-Offs, but just fell a little short.

“For our first season in League One I think we did extremely well and I don’t have a problem with that at all.

“This season ticket is superb value for money. It’s a terrific pitch and a super ground, and my congratulations go to the chairman who has put all his effort and money into it.”
