Conor hoping for step closer to France next year
Fleetwood Town defender Conor McLaughlin has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for their two summer fixtures against Qatar and Romania.Michael O’Neill‘s men will tackle Qatar at Crewe Alexandra’s stadium on Sunday 31st May, 5pm kick-off in a friendly match.
Northern Ireland will then face Romania in an important EURO 2016 qualifying match on Saturday 13th June, 7.45pm kick-off at Windsor Park.
It is first vs second in Group F, with the Romanians just one point ahead of McLaughlin’s nation. Three points for the Irish will take them on step closer to qualification for next year’s finals in France.
