Fleetwood Town Football Club are looking to recruit an Apprentice to work within their established grounds team. You will be working at both Highbury Stadium and at the new Poolfoot Farm Training Ground Complex.You will be helping to maintain and prepare the playing surface to an excellent standard to ensure that games/training can go ahead on schedule. To maintain the surrounding areas of the stadium and training pitches to the same high standard.
Candidates must be work within a small team, be hardworking, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, have a keen interest in Groundsmanship.
You will be expected to develop working relationship with all Departments and understand their roles.
You will be expected to work 35 hours each week, the times agreed by your line manager. Monday/ Sunday work will be expected. Working over a 7 day on/off shift pattern which will include working weekends and a shift pattern of night/day working.
You will be paid a minimum of £95.55 per week, based on Apprentice min wage of £2.73 per hour. This will rise to £115.50 on 1st Oct 2015 based on new Apprentice min wage of £3.30 per hour.

Training will be provided in the workplace where you will work towards an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Sportsturf.
