Conor picks up assist for his nation

Fleetwood Town defender Conor McLaughlin played a crucial role for Northern Ireland in their important Euro 2016 qualifying win over Finland.

The Cod Army defender provided the cross for Kyle Lafferty to score his second of the game as the Irish beat the Finnish by two goals to one.

The win leaves Northern Ireland in a strong position to qualify for next year’s finals in France. They are in second place, just one point off top spot.

There next game is against the group leaders Romania at home on June 13th.
