Having finished in a mid table position last term, Oldham Athletic will want to push on under new management in the 2015/16 season.
The man tasked with improving the Latics’ fortunes is Darren Kelly, who took over in May following the departure of Lee Johnson to Barnsley in February.
Oldham were challenging the Play-Off places earlier in the campaign, however fell away towards the end of the campaign, so will be hoping for better next time.
Kelly, 35, is in his first managerial role with the Greater Manchester outfit, having enjoyed a prolonged playing career in both England and Ireland.
Born in Derry, Kelly plied his trade as a defender with hometown side Derry City in 1996, before making the move across the Irish Sea to join Carlisle United in 2002.
A second spell with Derry followed, along with stays at York City, Portadown and Stalybridge Celtic.
Kelly ended his playing career with Scarborough Athletic in 2015, as he took up the role as boss at Oldham.
The Latics faithful will hope that Northern Irish midfielder Carl Winchester can deliver the goods next term.
Winchester, 22, began his career in the youth team set-up at Belfast based side Linfield, where he made just the solitary appearance during the 2009/2010 season.
He would soon leave his hometown club to join Oldham Athletic in August 2010 following a successful trial.
The youngster made his debut in November 2010 in an FA Cup tie at Accrington Stanley, and has gone onto make 63 appearances in the five years that have since followed.
Winchester was an ever present last season, turning out 47 times, and scoring four times.
Fleetwood have met with Oldham twice, with the Latics winning both encounters last season.
