Event follows on from a recent Under 7's festival
Fuse will play host to another of its successful football festivals at its impressive venue on Saturday 13th June. The festival is open to teams in the age group of Under 10’s and 11’s, and is another fantastic opportunity for local youngsters to sample the delights at Poolfoot Farm.
It will follow on from the Under 7’s event which proved hugely popular at the Club’s new training ground a fortnight ago.
Centre facilities manager Mick Horsfall said: “We’re obviously trying to get as many kids playing football as possible over the summer, and of course through the doors at Fuse.
“It’s great for these youngsters to come down here and see what’s happening, and the event follows on from the Under 7’s festival which proved very successful recently.
“Every team who enters the festival will play the same amount of games and we will have a winner, but the emphasis is on everybody getting to play as much as each other.
“Some teams will have already been down here and are happy to come back, but for others it’ll be the first time they visit so that’s great too.
“Even the ones who have been here will be impressed with the rate that the buildings are going up, and of course grass beginning to appear on the pitches.
“We’re starting to see now what will potentially be a fantastic development.
“As long as people come down to visit the place I don’t mind how many teams enter, because it’s brilliant for so many people to see the future of Fleetwood Town.”
