Community Trust donated £221.31 to Beverly Taylor

Nigel Wilding from Fleetwood Town Football Club recently presented a donation of £221.31 to Beverly Taylor of the Salvation Army Bridge Project.

This donation was from a collection made by a group of young people who were on a community course being run by Fleetwood Town’s Community Trust in conjunction with the National Citizens Service (NCS).

Nigel had invited the Salvation Army to come and give a talk about their Bridge Project and how it helps people in the local Community. As a result of that, the group decided to do a collection and donate it to the Bridge Project.

Beverly Taylor, programme manager of the Bridge Project said “I was really impressed with the interest they took in the project, and the dedication and enthusiasm of the group in taking the time and effort to make the collection.

"I would like to thank them and Fleetwood Town’s Community Trust for supporting our Bridge Project”.

The Salvation Army Bridge Project helps local people that are in crisis to move forward to a more stable life and integrate more into the community.

More information can be found on their website here or by calling the Salvation Army on 01253 626114.
