The fixture will take place on Tuesday 28th July

Fleetwood Town are delighted to confirm that Burnley will travel to Highbury for a pre-season fixture on Tuesday 28th July at 7.45pm.

The Clarets suffered relegation from the Barclays Premier League last season after ending the campaign in 19th place.

Sean Dyche’s men will be hoping to bounce back to the top flight at the first time of asking, and will provide the Cod Army with a stern test in what will be their first ever visit to Highbury.

Ticket prices (in all areas) for the game is as follows:

Adults - £12.50
Concessions (Over 65’s and Under 18’s) - £7.50
Under 16’s - £2.50
Under 5’s - Free

*please note that entry will be free of charge for ALL season ticket holders

Manager Graham Alexander, who enjoyed a spell playing for the Clarets, said: “I know Sean very well and it was something we organised a little while ago.

“It’ll certainly be a test for us as they’ve done great over the past couple of years even though they had the disappointment of getting relegated.

“We want to have stern tests in pre-season and that’s what we’ve tried to do. We’ve got some really tough opponents in there this year.

“We’re looking forward to the Burnley one and it’ll be good to invite them along to Highbury for a game.”
