Hansen joins the media team as an intern for three months

Danish student Tim Hansen has recently joined the Club’s media department on a three month internship from Lillebaelt Academy of Professional Higher Education.

The 21 year old flew into Manchester Airport on Friday afternoon to begin work with the Cod Army, where he will stay until the end of October.

Tim hopes to build on his media skills whilst gaining experience working within an English professional media set-up.

Speaking after arriving at Highbury, he said: “I study multimedia design back home in Denmark and will be spending time with Fleetwood as an intern for three months.

“I have a huge interest in football, especially British football, so I emailed a number of different clubs as an internship in England was something that interested me greatly.

“Fortunately, Fleetwood got back in touch with me and now I’m here! I was delighted when I received a reply and am so happy to be at Highbury.

“I hope to gain a lot of experience about how things work at a British football club and how they operate from a media and commercial side.

“I want to be able to return to Denmark and hopefully utilise my skills with a football club from my home country.

“I knew nothing about Fleetwood Town until I emailed them, but when I got the reply I started doing my research and reading about the Club. They have a great but short history so far.”
