Shot stopper joined Everton for a six figure sum
Fleetwood Town Football Club can confirm the signing of goalkeeper Mason Springthorpe on a short-term deal.The 20 year old shot stopper has spent time with Everton and played regularly for the Goodison Park club’s under-21 team before being released by Roberto Martinez in May 2014.
Shrewsbury born Springthorpe joined the Toffees for a six figure sum, before later going on to play for Ellesmere Port.
