Welshman spoke about the importance of commitment to a team
Town goalkeeper Chris Maxwell visited Flakefleet Primary School on Monday afternoon to discuss commitments to a team.Maxwell answered various questions from the Year Four group, including the rules he has to follow as a footballer and his lifestyle as a professional.
The students were keen to listen to the former Welsh Under 21 shot stopper, and the sacrifices he had to make as a footballer when growing up.
Teacher Catherine Jagger said: “It’s fantastic that Chris could take time out of his football schedule to come and speak to the children about his commitment to Fleetwood Town and the team.
"It’s a great opportunity for our pupils to speak to a professional footballer, and in some cases their idols.”
