Striker joined the Cod Army during the summer

Jamie Proctor will come up against his former employers Crawley Town on Saturday afternoon as the Cod Army look to get back to winning ways.

Proctor joined Fleetwood from the West Sussex outfit during the summer, and has scored four goals so far this campaign.

The attacker has impressed in recent weeks after a regular in the side, and will be hoping to net against Dean Saunders’ men at Highbury.

He said: “We played against them earlier on in the season and didn’t get the result we deserved, so hopefully we can a positive result.

“There’s been a lot of changes at the club since I was there, and there has even been a lot of changes since we last played them.

“They’ve got a new manager in who has signed quite a few players, so it will be a different game to last time.”

Proctor wants his teammates to forget about last weekend’s outcome against Oldham, and bounce back with a win over the Reds.

“The Oldham game was disappointing as we didn’t play anywhere near to the level that we have in recent weeks.

“It’s good that we’ve got a game that’s come along again at home, as we always believe we can win at Highbury, so we’ll be looking to pick up three points.”
