Popular bus service returns for Latics match
Fleetwood Town’s continued bid to attract new fans from Over Wyre resumes for Over Wyre residents for the Oldham game on Saturday 17th January.A double decker provided by Blackpool Transport will continue to pick up from Knott End, Preesall, Stalmine and Hambleton on its way to Highbury Stadium.
Martin Booker, Head of Commercial, thanked those involved. “We are keen to keep the scheme going in 2015 after a reduced service over the festive period.
“We will continue to promote the service Over Wyre and hope the interest from our first two games continues. The Landlords have been very supportive promoting this to their customers interested in the scheme.”
Fans can continue to register with their local pubs prior to the game, pick up times at the pubs are Knott End Working Mens Club at 1pm, Black Bull Preesall at 1.10pm, The Seven Stars at 1.15pm and The Shovels Inn Hambleton at 1.20pm.
Fans aged under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Members and season ticket holders from Over Wyre also welcome to use the bus service as well as first time fans.
Non-members will be asked to complete an members form on the day. The bus returns 5.15pm departing from Highbury Avenue close to the Jims Bar entrance.
Match tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 01253 775080 or you can buy tickets on arrival at the stadium on the day of the game.
The service will continue for our remaining 2015 home games as long as numbers dictate its success.
