Striker heads back to Conference outfit
Striker Matty Hughes has rejoined Chester FC on loan until the end of the season.The 22-year-old was an instant success in his first loan spell with the Blues and Hughes now has an opportunity to go and gain more first team football with the Conference outfit.
Chester face Southport away this weekend and Hughes could be in line for his second debut for Steve Burr’s men and links up with FTFC team mate Josh Green.
In additional news, Mason Springthorpe has signed a new one month contract at Fleetwood Town.
