A look back at Steinsson's playing career
Fleetwood Town Football Club confirmed the appointment of former Bolton Wanderers defender Gretar Steinsson as the Club’s new Technical Director on Wednesday afternoon.The former Iceland international appeared a 126 times for the Trotters between 2008-2012, and later joined Turkish side Kayserispor before injury brought an end to his playing career.
He has most recently been involved with Dutch side AZ Alkmaar as their Technical Director, and will bring a wealth of experience to his new role on the Fylde Coast.
