Defender picks up injury
Fleetwood Town manager Graham Alexander has confirmed that Danny Andrew will be out of action for at least two months with a knee injury. The left back sustained the injury on Boxing Day against Bradford City as he was withdrawn in the first half.
Speaking to the Club website, Alexander said: "Danny Andrew has done some damage to his knee so he is going to be out for a couple of months at least. It is really unfortunate because he was showing some good performances.
"We knew we had another quality left back to step in, Stephen Crainey. It is really unfortunate for Danny because he has been patient for his chance but we are going to be without him for a while."
On another note, the boss confirmed Tom Hitchcock has returned to MK Dons: "Tom Hitchcock has returned to MK Dons. We thank Tom for his attitude and the way he played for us.
"He is a great lad and we also thank Karl Robinson and MK Dons for allowing us to have him."
