Breck Primary School claim the win

The Football League Community Kids Cup is an annual tournament for U11 school children that result in a final played at Wembley during the Football League Play-Off weekend in May.

Last year was a huge success with Hambleton Primary School going all the way and having the once in a life time opportunity of playing at Wembley Stadium.

This year the Community Trust delivered another fantastic tournament with 28 teams battling it out to represent Fleetwood Town in the regional finals. All 250 kids competed in four mini leagues with the two top teams qualifying for the quarter finals followed by semi-finals and a final.

The Breck Primary School were the eventual winners beating Larkholme in a hard fought final. The tournament showcased some brilliant local talent which is fantastic to see and makes the tournament an even bigger success.

We have received some hugely positive feedback about the tournament from schools and parents;

Russ Bradley, Heyhouses Primary School “@FTFCCommunity fantastic tournament today. Heyhouses school had a great time.”

Dave Bailey, St Joseph’s Primary School “@FTFCCommunity Thanks for hosting and delivering a well-run enjoyable tournament @ftfc leading the way for local pro sides in the community”

We want to wish Breck Primary School all the best in the next round of the Football League Kids Cup.
