The Club agree partnership with major schoolRossall School and Fleetwood Town FC has announced a partnership which it’s hoped will see them collaborate on a number of major education and sporting projects.
The independent school and the club has a long standing relationship, providing coaching and team building sessions for students, tickets to matches and mutual use of the Schools and Fleetwood Town’s grounds and facilities. The School and Fleetwood Town FC wish to now build on this partnership and have agreed to work closely together on a number of interesting and exciting projects.
Elaine Purves, Head of Rossall School said: “We’re delighted to be working with Fleetwood Town FC and look forward to cementing our relationship with some exciting projects which will benefit both the school and the club.
“Rossall has always had a strong reputation for sport, which combined with our expansive campus and sporting facilities make, the school the perfect match for Fleetwood Town."
Fleetwood Town chief executive Steve Curwood said: “We have an excellent long standing relationship with Rossall School and it’s one we’re keen to develop and strengthen.
“It’s a school that truly offers national and truly international reach, with more and more students expressing an interest in football, so we’re discussing ways we can maximise that interest as well as looking at how we can combine Rossall’s education expertise and sporting facilities with the club’s skills, talent and knowledge.
“We’ve got a number of projects which will come to fruition over the coming months and years, which will enable us both to benefit mutually.
“We look forward to working with the team at Rossall to create a long-running programme of events and activities which will strengthen our offer to a board range of markets. It’s great that the Head and her staff have really bought into the concept of working in partnership with Fleetwood Town.”
