Lincolnshire official named referee for Pools clash
Lincolnshire-based Gary Sutton will be the man in the middle on Tuesday evening for the visit of Ronnie Moore’s Hartlepool United side.The Victoria Park outfit travel to the Fylde Coast having won their first game of the League Two season, with goals from captain Billy Paynter and Rakish Bingham giving Pools a 2-0 win over Morecambe.
Sutton took charge of 34 games last season, issuing 91 yellow cards and three reds.
He officiated two Cod Army fixtures during the 2014/15 season; Town’s 2-1 win over Crewe Alexandra last August, and the 1-0 defeat to Cambridge United in the FA Cup in November.
Jason Whiteley and Ollie Yates will run the line, while Ricky Wootton will be the fourth official.
