Striker will be available for this weekend's game

Fleetwood Town are delighted to confirm that striker David Ball has agreed a new two-year contract with the Club.

The 25-year-old made 34 appearances last season and helped Town secure their first ever top 10 finish in third tier of English football. Ball, one of the first players to make 100 Football League appearances for the Club, played a key role in Fleetwood Town’s promotion winning season.

The popular striker started the 1-0 win against Burton Albion at Wembley in the League Two Play-Off final and was awarded the Man of the Match award. He has an impressive record of 85 starts, with a return of 30 goals for Fleetwood Town.

He will link up with the squad in preparation for this weekend’s opening game of the season against Southend United.
