Bell: A learning curve for a number of players

Wing back has been a regular in the Town side this season

Amari’i Bell gave his reaction to the Club’s media team following the disappointing 2-0 away defeat to Doncaster Rovers, despite dominating large spells of possession.

The wing-back admitted it was an off-day for Fleetwood who were punished by two first half goals from James Coppinger and Curtis Main.

Bell though thinks the game will serve as a learning curve for a number of the youngsters amongst the Town ranks, including himself.

He said: “I didn’t think they were that good. We lost the game ourselves with two sloppy goals at the start.

“I thought we could have been better in the final third but now we just have to go again next Saturday.

“The balls I put in weren’t very good, some should have been low and hard but I was trying to chip them. I’ll learn from that though and try and do that next Saturday.

“Last week we showed we can be clinical, but at Doncaster we didn’t.”

Adding: “We definitely do have the quality in the team to do that and once we start doing it more regularly we’ll win at lot more games.

“At home, last week we did well. I think the fans enjoyed that performance so we’ve got to go again next Saturday with a similar performance, if not better, and we’ll win the game.”
