Stephen Jordan gave his reaction to Fleetwood Town's harsh loss at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

The result ended Fleetwood Town’s unbeaten start to life in League One after six games but still sees the side sitting in third place though Jordan mentioned how the team expect better from themselves.

“In the first half we didn’t play they way we wanted to, I don’t think it was a penalty though. Second half we were a lot better but we were poor in the first half.”

Forte’s spot kick, won by Danny Philliskirk from Steven Schumacher was the game’s turning point and Jordan insisted Schumacher was wronged by referee Mark Brown: “Shucey is adamant he’s not touched him and the guy has gone over him.

“I don’t really want to say much but we didn't get anything."

Despite the unbeaten start coming to an end Jordan remains determined the squad can get back on track: "We know every game is going to be tough but the way we’ve started and they way we were playing, we’re coming to places like this and expecting to win."

"At this level you need to learn that you will not always play so well but you have to put your chances away. It would be nice to not play so well and go in one or two-one up but still we are disappointed with the way we played first half.”
