Youngsters impressing away from Highbury
Three of Town’s players are currently out on-loan at their respective clubs as they seek to get game time away from Highbury.Matty Hughes and Tom Davies, who are on-loan at Chester City and Alfreton Town respectively, came up against one and other on Saturday afternoon.
Hughes’ City came out on top however, as they ran out 2-1 winners against the Reds at the Swansway Chester Stadium.
He scored his side’s first of the afternoon during the first period to take his tally to two goals in three games.
Centre half Davies made his debut for Alfreton in Cheshire after penning a deal with the club last week.
Jamie Allen played the full 90 minutes on his league debut in AFC Fylde’s home win over Gainsborough Trinity.
Allen looked impressive throughout with his pace and trickery, and will look to continue his good form for the Coasters until his deal expires on the 6th December.
