Cod Army youngsters tackle Accrington in FA Youth Cup
Fleetwood Town U18s have been drawn at home to Lancashire neighbours Accrington Stanley in the FA Youth Cup first round.Last season, the young Cod Army faced Rotherham United at the New York Stadium, but were cruelly knocked out of the competition on penalties after the game finished 1-1. Fleetwood suffered the same fate two years ago, once again bowing out on spot kicks with Hartlepool United advancing to the second round.
The game will be played before Saturday 8th November. Further details will be announced in due course.
