The striker coached Millfield School's girls
Fleetwood Town Football Club’s David Ball, along with one of our Community coaches, joined a group of Millfield girls last week to deliver their weekly football session.With the delivery of our female football development programme in full swing, it was fantastic that David could come along and pass on some of his knowledge and experience to the girls.
The sessions are designed for the girls to enjoy playing football with an intent for them to join a local junior club.
David was more than happy to help out, and had this to say after the session: “Over the years the female game has grown rapidly, and this is just an example of the growth.
“It’s fantastic to see all the girls here enjoying their football and eager to learn. These football sessions are presenting opportunities for girls of all abilities to join football.”
