With another home game on the horizon, Fleetwood Town’s popular matchday programme returns as the Cod Army get set to face Walsall.

In this week’s edition, priced at just £3, we speak to Stephen Crainey on life so far back on the Fylde Coast following his summer arrival from Championship side Wigan Athletic.

Crainey, a cult hero down the road at Blackpool, tells #codarmy that he hopes to one day return to Wembley Stadium, a ground he has played at four times already!

Talking of his time at Bloomfield Road, he said: “Everything just felt right at the club; the lads, the set-up and a good bunch of people, just like there is here at Fleetwood.”

We also look in depth at the Highbury visitors Walsall, who make their first ever league trip to Fleetwood.

We identify four of their key players including a striker that has already found the back of the net eight times so far this season.

Staying on the topic of the Saddlers, we take a trip down memory lane and reflect back on a historic 2007 for the Midlands outfit as they secured promotion to the third tier of English football as champions.

But that is not all; we catch up with League Two’s North West footballer of the year Conor McLaughlin following his triumphant award in Manchester on Tuesday night.

Our popular fans column returns after a month absence, with Andy Smart, who is heavily involved in Fleetwood Town Juniors taking up the reigns.

Regular columns with Andy Pilley, Graham Alexander and Mark Roberts all feature with the trio having kind words to say about last weekend’s debutant Tyler Forbes.

This plus much, much more is available to buy for just £3. To purchase any matchday programme’s online, please click here
