No pay on the day at York

8 May 2014

Free coach travel for Cod Army fans this weekend

The countdown is on for Fleetwood Town with the League Two Play-Offs two days away.

The Cod Army are offering supporters FREE coach travel to Bootham Crescent for the 7.30pm kick-off on Saturday, with places still remaining.

Supporters are reminded that tickets can only be purchased up until 12pm on Saturday, with no sales on the day of the game at York City.

Speaking exclusively to Fleetwood Town’s official club website, Operations Manager Dave Holloway explained the ticket office has been really busy but tickets are still available for this weekend’s first leg.

Holloway said: “Sales are going well; we have had a good response from our supporters who have been buying tickets either from the ticket office or over the phone.

“Earlier this week York City informed us that it would be an all ticket game so we must stress that fans need to buy their tickets before 12pm on Saturday.

“The chairman has made a fantastic gesture by offering free coach travel to York for all fans that have purchased tickets for this weekend’s game. We need the whole town to get behind Fleetwood and be the 12th man through the Play-Offs.”
