Yorkshire official named as the man in the middle for the game at Wembley
Football League referee Michael Naylor will take charge of the Sky Bet League 2 Play-Off Final between Fleetwood Town and Burton Albion, it has been confirmed.
The South Yorkshire-based match official has been the man in the middle 34 times this season and will now referee the final at Wembley Stadium on Monday 26 May.
Mr Naylor has issued 87 yellow cards throughout the 2013/14 campaign, more than two per game on average, but has only had to hand out one red.
He was in charge of the 0-0 draw between Fleetwood and Rochdale at Highbury Stadium on 29 March this season, with Dale’s Michael Rose the only booking of the match.
It will be the second time Naylor has officiated a Play-Off contest, the first being in charge of Crewe Alexandra’s first-leg win against Southend United in the 2012 League Two Play-Off semi-finals
