Frack Free Sunday line-up confirmed

Highbury Stadium is set to welcome a host of chart-hitting acts next month for a 10 hour outdoor, summer music spectacular.


The League 2 club will welcome the Live Wyre – Frack Free Sunday music festival on 1st June with acts taking to the stage from 11.30am.


Salford-based Happy Mondays will be joined by Scottish band Big Country and Ska outfit Bad Manners. Toyah Wilcox, with thirteen top 40 singles, and London-based Alabama 3 will be joined by three local bands. ‘Wild Thing’ performers The Troggs complete the line-up.


Central to the all day festival is an important theme with anti-fracking groups putting their message across in information tents. Happy Mondays Mark ‘Bez’ Berry is at the forefront of the campaign against the controversial technology which pressuring water and chemicals into deep shale rock to extract gas.


Tickets for the event are on general sale and are priced at £29 for standing areas and £35 seated. Tickets are available calling 0844 871 8819 or visiting ticket partner SEE Tickets (there will be an administration and postage charge when calling this number). 

 

Tickets are available from the Fleetwood Town FC ticket office with administration charges.

 

In addition, VIP hospitality in the Parkside Suite is available for £85 per person with VIP Executive Boxes £1,250 for 12 guests.
