New Fleetwood Town away strip to go on sale on Friday morning
Fleetwood Town and official kit sponsor PUMA have unveiled the Cod Army’s new away kit for the 2014/15 League One campaign.The new yellow and navy blue away strip, inspired by Fleetwood’s prodomiately yellow original colours, will go on sale from 9am on Friday 1st August.
This will mean Fleetwood Town’s all black strip, which was the away kit for the 2013/14 promotion winning campaign, will now be the third strip. The red and white home strip will be the same for the second consecutive season.
“We have gone back to traditional Fleetwood Town colours by having a yellow away strip,” explained Operations Manager Dave Holloway.
“The Club was initially sponsored by a trawler company and Fleetwood Town did originally play in yellow.
“It is a brand new design by PUMA alongside keeping to Club tradition. We hope it will be a big hit with the Cod Army supporters.
“The kit will go on sale the day before the Partick Thistle match, with fans able to purchase from the Club shop from 9am on Friday or via the website.
“There is no increase in price, so it will remain £40 for an adult shirt and £30 for a junior shirt.
