The Cod Army are just 180 minutes away from a first Wembley appearance since 1985 but must first overcome League 2 rivals Chesterfield.

Fleetwood Town host Chesterfield in the first leg of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Final on Tuesday 4th February at 7.45pm.  The second leg is yet to be determined but will be either Monday or Tuesday 17th/18th February.  

No matter the exact date of the second leg, Cod Army supporters are able to enjoy low-cost club travel for just £1 return. Not only is travel available at this exceptional price but two departure times are available to ensure as many people who may be working on the day can travel. Coaches will depart at 2.30pm and 3.30pm and the choice of departure time can be selected when booking. Bookings can be made at the club shop or by calling 01253 775080 and they are on sale now.

Club chairman Andy Pilley said "The first leg will be huge and we need to ensure the crowd is as big as possible. A positive Highbury atmosphere makes all the difference to the lads. We saw just that during the Rotherham game and the lively support proved productive against a very good League 1 side."

The chairman wants to encourage as many supporters as possible to make the second leg. "It's really, really important we have as many people travelling on the night. There's bound to be a big crowd at Chesterfield and we want our fans there as well getting behind the team and cheering us on to success and a trip to Wembley."

Tickets for the first leg of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Final at Highbury go on sale at 9am Wednesday 18th December.

Fleetwood Town overcame Rotherham United in the last round - making it four League 1 teams Town have despatched on the way to the Area Final.

Chesterfield supporters will be housed in the standing Percy Ronson Stand and seated in block F&G of the Parkside Stand. Chesterfield fans will be able to  purchase tickets from the Proact Stadium.

Hospitality in the Parkside Suite is £39 per person and Executive Boxes £499 plus VAT.

The second leg at the Proact Stadium will be on Monday or Tuesday 17th/18th February. Second leg ticket prices will be announced when received from Chesterfield.
