All at Fleetwood Town were saddened to learn of the death of our good friend George MacSymons just before Christmas, George, who was 76, was a key figure in the reformation of our club in 1997 and he gave huge amounts of his own time helping to maintain our stadium in those early days.
George's passing leaves a huge hole in the lives of all who knew him, particularly his wife Ann, daughter Trudie and son Christopher. We would like to pass on our deepest sympathy to all of George's family and assure them that he will never be forgotten here at Fleetwood Town Football Club.
