Luke Thomas gets exactly what he wants for his 14th birthday...
Lee Thomas was the first Cod Army customer on Friday morning to purchase the new 2014/15 Puma second strip – even though the shirt wasn’t for him!Lee, a Memorial Stand season ticket holder, was birthday present shopping for his son, Luke.
“The shirt being released on Luke’s birthday meant there was only wanted one thing at the top of his birthday list." Dad Lee explained.
"The yellow and blue look great together and I’m sure he’ll be wearing his shirt for lots of games this season. We can’t wait for the new campaign and the Crewe game.”
Luke, 14, is also a season ticket holder in the Memorial Stand and attends Fleetwood High School.
The choice of yellow and navy echoes back 10 years to the 2004/05 season when Town lifted the North West Counties Football League Division One title and started the series of six promotions in ten season and League One football. The average attendance at Highbury Stadium that season was 206 supporters.
The all black Puma away strip has been adopted as the Cod Army third kit.
The new kit is available from the club shop or online priced at £40 adults and £30 junior sizes. Click here to visit the online store
Happy birthday, Luke!
