Cod Army hold Supporters Award Evening in Jim’s Sports Bar after Southend game.

Fleetwood Town celebrated this season’s achievements so far at the annual Awards Evening, with a great turn out in Jim’s Sports Bar.

The annual event was this year held after Fleetwood’s draw with Southend United, with management, players and supporters all in attendance as the club recognised this year’s achievements, both on and off the pitch.

Centre back Nathan Pond scooped the Supporters Player of the Year award, with the defender currently enjoying his testimonial year with the football club.

Fellow defender Conor McLaughlin claimed three awards on the evening, winning the Players Player of the Year award, Junior Cod Army Player of the Year award and Goal of the Season award.

The Community Player of the Year award went to winger Matty Blair, whilst Young Player of the Year went to Keano Duncan. Clubman of the Year was awarded to Nicola Groves.

The Supporter of the Year went to Pete Ainscow. It was a fantastic show of support to Pete who sadly passed away in December last year and his family and friends accepted his award.

Sponsor of the award Granada Fish Bar have also decided to rename the award in his honour for the 14/15 season, a fantastic gesture.

Picture Quiz Winners were FTFC juniors. The juniors, with their captain Steven Schumacher, recorded an impressive 24/24.

The football club would like to thank everybody who attended the event on Saturday.
