Sky Bet League 2 market moves

Fleetwood Town have moved into 5/2 favourites for the League Two title and are now odds-on for promotion thanks to their comprehensive 4-1 victory over Newport County.

The Cod Army, only one of three sides in the top half to take three points this weekend, seized their opportunity to take a two point lead at the helm of the league table, Morecambe and Southend being the other two.

The Shrimps, who are rank outsiders at 33/1 for league glory despite being only three points off the running in fifth, sealed a priceless victory away at promotion rivals Burton Albion thanks to Ryan Williams’ only goal of the game.

Early league favourites Chesterfield conceded a late equaliser at home to Scunthorpe, further extending their lull in form which has seen them on the drift in the outright market – they’re out to 100/30 after seven games without a victory.

That late equaliser for The Iron has left them sitting just outside the play-off positions in eighth place, and they are one of fifteen sides on single figure odds for promotion to Sky Bet League 1 at 3/1.
