Chris Lucketti preseneds Goal of the Season to Jamie Allen (Northampton away) Graham Alexander presented Players’ Player of the Season to Scott Davies Andy Pilley presented Supporters Player of the Season to Scott Davies Steve Carlin presented Youth Player of the Season to new first year pro Richard Wright Fleetwood Town Juniors player Kiera Mercy presented Junior Cod Army Player of the Season to Scott Davies Steve Lynton of the Granada Fish Bar present Sue White the Supporter of the Season Award JUNIOR COD ARMY AWARD This player is a local lad who went to school in Fleetwood. He maintains close ties with the local education community through his tireless school visits and community appearances.  These visits help young supporters identify with the player as a role model. His typically thoughtful nature was shown just last weekend when he handed his boots to a young supporter after the Wimbledon game. Boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen … SCOTT DAVIES SPECIAL MENTION This person has just completed an 18 month volunteer spell with the club. Her written work and interviews have been seen on the club website and local press and has also played a key role with the match day programme.  This young person has correctly represented the club both home and away and has built a good rapport with many people at the club. The end of her degree course at the University of Central Lancashire means a return home to the Midlands and, with it, the search for her first job in the world of work… Ladies and Gentlemen …. LIZ OWEN PLAYER OF THE SEASON This player has proved his credentials by maintaining his position and recording a 99% appearance rate throughout our first Football League campaign.  His natural leadership and determination has been rewarded with the captain’s armband in the latter part of the season. A long string of impressive saves has tipped the balance of many games this season…. Ladies and Gentlemen … SCOTT DAVIES GOAL OF THE SEASON This player made his Fleetwood Town and Football League debut this season. He made four appearances in total including two starts against Oxford United and Bradford City. But it’s for his debut strike away at Northampton Town that the award of Goal of the Season goes to ...
