Vics Return for Brown

Junior Brown is looking forward to returning to Northwich Victoria tonight as the Cod Army continue their preparation for the new season. The 24 year old is however sad to see the position his former club find themselves in. "It is a shame to see a club with such a good history having a bad time but it will be good to go back and see some of the old faces and the fans too. So I am looking forward to being there tonight."

Brown, the club's top scorer last season, has him and the rest of the squad are feeling positive about Fleetwood Town's second season in the Football League. "It has been hard work getting back into the swing of things but I feel good and I know the lads are feeling good too. It is all necessary work so hopefully we can get as fit as possible and take it into the season."

The winger feels that the club's team spirit is key in integrating the new signings into the side. Junior said: "We are a good bunch of lads with great team spirit and we have welcomed each new signing with open arms. They get involved with the banter and that is part and parcel of being a footballer and they all seem to be great lads. They've settled in really well so hopefully we can take that team spirit and kick on in the season."
