Richard Brodie scored twice and was sent off inside 30 minutes as Fleetwood hammered local rivals Southport.

The frontman opened the scoring from close range before Jamie Milligan's penalty made it 2-0 after Earl Davis fouled Jamie Vardy.

Brodie scored again from inside the box before he was given a second booking just after the half hour mark.

Vardy scored twice from the edge of the box either side of Andy Mangan's strike.
