Chris Maxwell has gone on loan to Cambridge United, and there have been many other movers around League Two this week. 

Rob Atkinson has signed for Accrington Stanley on a two-year contract. The defender made 35 appearances during his time with the Cod Army – scoring once.

League Two will be seeing plenty of long throw-in’s at Burton Albion next season, as the Brewers completed the signing of Rory Delap following his release from Premier League side Stoke City.

Championship side Blackpool have swooped to sign Rochdale striker Bobby Grant on a two-year deal. Grant scored 15 goals at Spotland last season.

AFC Wimbledon have captured Burnley’s George Porter on a loan deal which will last for the season. The winger has only played for the Clarets once so far.

Bury have been busy in the transfer market this summer, and Blackburn’s Anton Forrester has been brought in on loan for six months.

Craig Braham-Barrett joins Cheltenham Town on loan from Macclesfield, although the defender will return to the Silkmen in January.

Chesterfield have secured the capture of Matty Brown. The former Manchester City reserve player joins the club from Marine FC.

Romuald Boco, a Benin international, has moved on a free transfer to Plymouth Argyle after the end of his contract at Accrington Stanley.

And as has been announced, the Football League and Sky Sports have agreed a new five-year partnership to broadcast games until 2018.

Meanwhile, eighth signing of the summer brought in 31-year-old Stephen Jordan last week.
Wayne Rooney’s younger brother, John, has joined Bury following a trial with the Shakers. Chris Sedgwick has also completed a move to Gigg Lane.

Warren Cummings has departed from AFC Wimbledon after the 32-year-old was told he would feature heavily in Neal Ardley’s side.

Afolabi Obafemi, only 18 years-of-age, has joined Dagenham and Redbridge in their first piece of transfer business this summer.

Cheshunt defender Tommy Fletcher has joined Wycombe following a trial spell with the club. The 18-year-old has signed a one-year deal.

Cheltenham Town have signed Terry Gornell after the striker was released by Rochdale.

And Sam Parkin has moved to Exeter after his release from St Mirren
