Matchday arrangements Skyblues visit

Coventry City visit Highbury this Wednesday evening for the second pre-season friendly at Highbury.

The Skyblues finished their League One campaign at our Capital One Cup opponents Notts County.  The 2-2 draw at Meadow Lane proved to be the last game Jeff Hughes would play for County before his summer move to Town.

That draw saw City finish in 15th spot under the guidance of Steven Pressley who took over in March. Pressley joined Coventry from Falkirk where he was Stewart Murdoch’s manager – another Highbury summer arrival.

Tickets for Wednesday evening are £10 adults and £5 others – under 5’s go free. Tickets are on sale until kick-off.

Highbury season tickets holders and Junior Cod Army/Under 16 members also go free.

Season ticket holders may use their card at the turnstiles. Junior Cod Army/Under 16s need to visit the club shop between now and kick-off for a free ticket.

The club shop is open Monday and Tuesday from 9am until 5pm and Wednesday from 9am until 7.45pm kick-off.

Jim’s Sports Bar at Highbury is open from 5.30pm for home and away supporters with hot snacks available. T20 cricket with the Roses battle will be shown from 6pm and Bayern Munich host Barca in a friendly at 7.45pm.

A number of hospitality places in the Parkside Suite remains available at £39 per person – call 01253 775080 to book. Coventry City supporters are welcome.  A three-course meal by Twelve of Thornton and seat on the executive balcony are included in the cost.

A colour, 20-page matchday programme is available for £1.50 and the ever-popular 50/50 draw allows one supporter to go home with a superb cash prize.

Coventry City supporters will be housed in a section of the seated Parkside Stand. Refreshments are available in both stands with alcohol available in the covered Parkside concourse which also has Sky television available.
