Youth-team goalkeeper, Oliver Martin, is to be named amongst the substitutes for Town's visit to Aldershot.

Following the dismissal of Scott Davies during the home fixture against Burton, youth goalkeeper, Oliver Martin, will take position on the bench this Saturday at EBB Stadium. Graham Alexander said, "No we aren’t going to appeal Scott’s red card. Sometimes I think you need a very good camera angle for a decision to be overturned and we didn’t have that. I know myself, Scott knows himself, the player who did it knows himself that it wasn’t a penalty. Referees sometimes do need a little bit of help, but what disappointed me most was how quick he was to give Scott a red card." "He didn’t appear to think it through, he didn’t go and speak to his linesman or anything – he just came straight out with the red card. That, for me, is disappointing because if it’s 11 v 11 and we’re 1-0 down then we carry on competing for a result and it’s a better game for everyone, but if you lose your ‘keeper and go down to 10 men as well as going 1-0 down, it’s a hard ask. Like I said, we were party to our own downfall as well – it was poor defending to let the lad get to that position in the first place – so we’re not going to blame everything on the referee." "Things conspired against us but we stay positive because we’ve been playing excellently of late and we’ve picked up some fantastic results. I don’t see why we can’t do that again come Saturday." "We can’t recall Chris Maxwell because we’ve made a commitment to both him and to Wrexham as well in that we wouldn’t call him back. Part of the reason in bringing in David Lucas is that, as well as his goalkeeping coaching abilities, he could step into the team. So we’ll go with David Lucas on Saturday and we’ll take it from there." Town head to Aldershot for their return fixture following a 4-1 home win last September at Highbury.
