Fleetwood Town youth team made it two wins out of two after an impressive 2-0 victory over Macclesfield Town last weekend.

A clean sheet and a goal for centre back Michale Muscat left the youngster delighted with both his and the team’s performance and he admits confidence is high in the camp as they continue their good form in the league.

“All the boys’ attitude has been great in training and these last 2 weeks we’ve shown we can score goals and keep clean sheets “

“To be fair it was a decent ball from Robbie for the two goals, all I had to do was just get my head to it”

“We’ve been practising our set pieces in training and its obviously rewarding when you see it work on the pitch”

And the defender who was described as “different class” by assistant Mark Bowley admitted he may have to give his team mates some advice on how to find the back of the net.

“The two of us are going to give a coaching session on how to score goals to the rest of the lads” Muscat joked.
