Use GCSEs for Futsal

Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport

Calling all pupils receiving there GCSE results on Thursday. If you are still unsure about what to do for your future why not join our Futsal Educational Scholarship with Fleetwood Town Community Trust? Our Futsal Educational programme, starting in September is a two year scholarship aimed at 16-17 year old students incorporating sport and education. 

At the end of the two year course graduates will accomplish;

• A BTEC Level 3 Diploma, the equivalent of 3 A levels which allows graduates to apply for higher education at university. 
• The opportunity for vocational qualifications, such as FA Level 1 and 2 football coaching and Level 1 Futsal coaching
• Gain a level 1 Futsal refereeing qualification

The course will involve 12 hours education and 40+ hours training and competitive matches per week. 

Futsal itself is a fast paced 5-a-side action that concentrates on skills, technique and intelligence of football, it is globally recognised as one of the fastest growing indoor sports in the world with many greats in the game such as Zidane, Ronaldo, and Fabregas have developed there skills through Futsal.
