Fleetwood Town chairman Andy Pilley was in high spirits following the club’s decision to allow free admission for Year 11 children and under for the 2013/14 campaign.
The free admission for Year 11 and under is also available for the final two home games of the current season against Rochdale and Chesterfield, which could prove to be pivotal considering the Cod Army are still in contention for a play-off place.
The chairman envisions a bright future for Fleetwood Town. “We are committed to our growing fan base, we think it’s a fantastic place to start and it gives an experience for Year 11’s and below, to come on match day and hopefully get the bug which will see them return on a regular occasion.”
“We thought carefully whether to introduce this offer for the 2013/14 season and decided, why not? We’ve got everything to gain and nothing to lose. It means that the people who fall into this age category can enjoy watching football at Highbury, free of charge for the last two home games and the whole of next season.”
To qualify for the free tickets Year 11 and under simply need to visit the club website to register or visit the club shop. Tickets are available for the Memorial Stand, and once registered tickets should be collected from the club’s ticket office any time up until kick off on the day of the games.
Under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult to the game.
