Fleetwood Town are looking for local footballers from the business community to deliver results!
The club is hosting it’s very own corporate football challenge backed by brewing partner Carlsberg UK to launch the Carlsberg Cup at Highbury on Friday 17th May. “We know that local businesses from the Fylde coast love their football. What better way to demonstrate their passion for the game than a football tournament – and be a professional for the day! It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day’s football and experience our facilities.” said Martin Booker, Head of Commercial at the club.
We are looking for local businesses to enter teams for the competition, a squad of 9 players is required and the tournament will comprise of group matches before a knockout phase for both winners and runners-up. The package also includes refreshments, lunch and post match drinks and food for all teams taking part.
With the pitch renovations starting week commencing 20th May at Highbury the club is running a number of events for the football and business community. A number of schools cup finals, local league finals as well as local businesses are taking advantage of the opportunity to play at Highbury Stadium.
