Fleetwood TownFC Community Trust is today announcing this season’s programme of Respect workshops for local schools. In a programme funded by npower, all 72 Football League Trusts will be delivering lesson plans around the theme of ‘Respect’ to 80,000 ten and eleven year olds across the UK. Fleetwood TownFC Community Trust will be aiming to run sessions for 1200 Fylde Coast youngsters between now and end of February 2013. Working with The Football League Trust, npower has designed the Respect workshops to use young people’s love of football to encourage good behaviour. Through fun and interactive sessions in schools, children are taught how to: Identify unacceptable behaviour and its effect on others- Develop an understanding of respect and how this can be taken into daily life
